DATA PROTECTION NOTIFICATION
Thank you for your interest in German-Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence (GCAAI). Herewith we explain about the protection rule of your data while you browsing or interacting with our website. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
Our online membership registration asks you for the following personal data: name, contact information, social network information, basic career or educational information, interest in AI, your opinion on GCAAI, your willingness of volunteering GCAAI, your bank account for Direct Debit. We will not process the personal data which are regulated as sensitive under data protection law unless 1) you have consented, or 2) the processing is required or permitted by applicable law.
HOW DO WE DEAL WITH THE DATA
The data will only be used for association internal demographic statistics, opinion analysis and evaluation, further contact and communication, direct debit for association annual fee. The data will not be shared outside GCAAI.
STORING AND SECURING YOUR DATA
We use appropriate safeguards to secure your personal data while we store it for evaluation and thereafter. You always have the right to request that we no longer store your application.
We will treat your personal data as confidential and comply with all legal data protection requirements when handling your information. If you have questions or wish to have access to your personal data, or to have your personal data corrected, updated, restricted, erased or transferred in accordance with your legal rights, please send us an email at contact@gcaai.org with the details of your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Herewith I consent that the data I submitted to the GCAAI will be used only for the purpose like internal demographic information analysis, further contact, debit of annual fee. I consent the GCAAI internal usage of these data. I also know that I have the right to access, update and erase my data in the future.
